A Word from Fred, Goldies’ C.E.O.

After having my OWN automobile plated TWICE by two different gold plating “professionals”, I began to believe there had to be a better way. A long fruitless search began for someone I could trust to RE-plate my vehicle properly AND stand behind their work. Some vendors came close either with spectacular looking work WITHOUT a satisfaction guarantee or else downright lousy results that were “guaranteed not to change appearance or fade”. (From their present awful appearance I assumed.) I thought to myself, “This is MY car and I want it RIGHT!”

Then it hit me. For the last 12 years I wasn’t really happy (or getting rich) being a sales manager for a large auto stereo and alarm chain. I always preferred being in the installation bays getting my hands dirty with my installers and technicians and designing new and more creative ways to install the electronics I had sold. Combining my managerial skills with my “hands on” attitude I truly believed I could be the one to open a gold plating company that met my exacting standards. Thankfully, I was right, and Goldies was born.
